Adoption
All adopters will have to:
Sign a contract with us,
Have vet references,
Have proof of income,
Have proof of being 18 or older,
Have proof that if you rent, your landlord agrees to the adoption,
Agree to have the pet spayed/neutered in the given time allowed,
Agree to have the pet properly vetted annually,
Agree to have the pet housed correctly indoors,
Agree to have a fence or invisible fencing around the yard,
Agree to a home inspection/visit within two weeks after the adoption.
This helps ensure that all our pets being adopted will be safe and well taken care of in their new forever homes.
**Fees can be made either by cash or check. Returned checks is a $50 fee.**
How our adoptions work:
Fill out and submit an adoption application
Once we receive the application we will verify your information. If all information is in good standing we will call you to set up a Meet n Greet with the pet you wish to adopt.
We run strictly by foster homes. Meet n Greets need to be made by appointment only. This gives our foster homes enough time to set aside the day and time to bring the pet to our main foster home location in Loveland.
We DO NOT spay or neuter a pet before it is 6 months old. The spay/neuter, you as the new adopter will have to have done. We do require a $50 spay/neuter deposit to guarantee that when the pet reaches 6 months of age or if past the 6 months of age that you have two months to get the pet spayed/neutered after the adoption. Once the pet has been altered and we receive the receipt showing it was done, we will send you back the $50.
